Junior Editor

LOCATION:  London

The Junior Editor will be an integral member of the PRI’s dynamic and growing Communications team, supporting the Editor and content teams across the organisation in the writing and editing of a wide range of written material that raises awareness of the work of the PRI and its signatories, and positions the organisation as a global thought-leader on responsible investment. 

The individual will work closely with the PRI’s content teams and with colleagues in the Communications team to help them write, edit and deliver high-quality, engaging and impactful materials, including feature-length publications, a suite of e-newsletters and a plethora of additional ad-hoc written outputs. The Junior Editor will enhance the overall structure and specific style of written materials to ensure that their goals are effectively communicated and their impact effectively delivered to a diverse group of stakeholders, including existing and potential signatories, academics, our UN partners, policy makers, and the media.

You will be flexible and creative with a keen eye for goals and objectives and meticulous attention to detail. An existing knowledge of how financial markets operate and impact the world will be helpful, and at minimum you will have a keenness to learn about the subject on the job. Translation skills into and/or from any other major languages would be considered a bonus.

REPORTING AND ASSESSMENT MANAGER

This opportunity is within the PRI Reporting and Assessment team. The successful candidate will be flexible, proactive, creative and results-driven, possess excellent written and verbal communications skills

The Manager will be responsible for the management of the reporting tool and the process and delivery of public transparency reports (available on the PRI website). This includes the development and correct running of the IT systems, signatory support in the completion of the reporting and other planning and coordination activities needed to make the process flow smoothly for signatories and within the PRI. The manager will be expected to represent that R&A team externally and with signatories as required.

This role will be reporting into Senior Reporting and Assessment Manager.

SENIOR CONSULTANT ROLE: ESG IN CREDIT RATINGS

The Senior Consultant will be responsible for managing PRI’s ‘ESG in credit ratings’ project and delivering on its objectives. In 2015 the PRI started a dialogue with its signatories and the world’s largest credit rating agencies (CRA) to encourage systematic and transparent consideration of ESG factors in credit analysis. Further details are listed under Key Responsibilities.

This is an opportunity for an experienced professional to work with the PRI’s network which includes over 1,400 investment organisations and other investment industry stakeholders around the world. The job will provide many opportunities to travel and present in front of large audiences providing excellent opportunities to build a profile in the responsible investment space.

The Senior Consultant will be employed as a PRI employee on a two year contract. The role is intended to be full-time but the PRI may consider other arrangements depending on the skills of respective applicants. There may be a possibility to extend the contract contingent on the ongoing success of the project. The role will report to the manager of the PRI Fixed Income Work Stream.

Associate Director: Americas - Networks

This is an opportunity for an experienced professional  to join a growing organisation, dedicated to promoting the adoption and implementation of responsible investment practices in the Americas region (Canada, US and Latin America). This role will manage a growing team of about 6 staff with two primary goals.

  • Servicing the signatory network; i.e., providing practical guidance, solutions and networking opportunities to signatories on the implementation of responsible investment practices and
  • bringing new investors to sign the Principles; i.e., increasing the number of investors, particularly asset owners, from the US, Canada and Latin America along the responsible investment implementation path via joining our organisation.

The PRI is developing its global activities across three main regions: the Americas, the Asia Pacific region and the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.  This role is focused on leading the work in the Americas region for the Network and Global Outreach team.  The Americas is currently one of the regions with some of the largest and most prominent signatories to the PRI which requires excellent relationship management.
